Terms and Conditions for the Use of the Application

ACCEPTANCE OF THE GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These terms were last updated on October 22, 2025.

These are the General Terms and Conditions governing the contractual relationship between users who access the contents and services provided through the website www.hstech.cl and the Flashcard Android application made available through the Google Play Store.

HYCS Developers has prepared this document to inform users of the terms and conditions under which the services available through the website and the application are provided.

The services of the app — such as text reading, searching, organizing information, and accessing documents — are provided solely to assist users in their learning and project management processes.

It is expressly stated that:

• (a) The free use of the application is provided as a trial version for a limited period determined by the developer.
• (b) HYCS Developers declares that the application does not communicate with or transfer any data to remote databases and does not collect any personal information other than the user’s email and username required for login and identification purposes.

The term “You” refers to the user visiting the website and/or using the application, utilizing the services, and/or providing information through the mobile version of the app.

By accessing or using the website and/or the application in any manner, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. Therefore, you must read these terms carefully.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms and Conditions, please refrain from using the website, the application, and/or the services provided, as your use may be considered unauthorized by HYCS Developers.

User Data

HYCS Developers is committed to transparency in the way it handles user data.

The Flashcard app does not access, store, or share any personal, sensitive, or device data, except for:

• Email address
• Username

These are used solely for account creation and synchronization purposes. The app does not sell, trade, or share user information with third parties.

All information collected is managed according to the user’s explicit consent and only for purposes directly related to the operation of the app.

HYCS Developers complies at all times with applicable privacy and data protection laws in the jurisdictions where its products or services are offered, including but not limited to the Google Play Developer Program Policies.

If the app includes third-party SDKs or code, HYCS Developers ensures that such third parties also comply with Google Play’s user data policies, including restrictions on the sale or misuse of sensitive or personal data.

Sensitive and Personal User Data

The Flashcard app does not collect, access, or use sensitive or personal data, such as:

• Payment or financial data
• Contacts or phonebook information
• Location data
• SMS, calls, or device identifiers
• Health data, microphone, or camera inputs

If at any point a feature requiring such data is introduced, HYCS Developers will:

1. Display an in-app disclosure describing the data accessed and how it will be used.
2. Request explicit user consent before collecting or accessing any such data.
3. Handle such data securely and in accordance with modern encryption standards (e.g., HTTPS).

Privacy Policy and Data Security

All applications distributed through Google Play must include a Privacy Policy, accessible via:

• The Google Play listing
• Within the application itself

This policy details:

• The developer’s identity and contact information
• The types of data collected, used, and shared
• Procedures for secure data handling, retention, and deletion
• Information about user rights regarding their data

HYCS Developers commits to maintaining accurate and up-to-date information in the Data Safety Section of the Play Console.

Account Deletion Requirement

If the Flashcard app allows users to create an account, users may request the deletion of their account and all associated data at any time.

Account deletion options will be clearly available both inside the app and on the developer’s website.

Deleted accounts will result in the permanent removal of all user-related information, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate security purposes (e.g., fraud prevention).

Final Provisions

HYCS Developers reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions as necessary to comply with legal, regulatory, or technical requirements.

All updates will be published on www.hstech.cl and within the app. Continued use of the application after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
